uninvited flashes..
swept me off my feet..
i froze in the air..
like an ice sculpture..
i can barely feel those tears.
break me now..
the pieces left of me.

it was probably foolish of me..
how i reacted, i just couldn't see
the real picture that's torn in sight..
something in which i couldn't fight- alone.
as the rain came crashing down..
time drags on, these windows fade..
reality starts slipping from my mind.
just say that you'll be by my side..
when the storm subsides..
but i can't hold on to something that's not mine..
i know that in heart, deep inside.
and maybe that scared me..
in shattered hopes- the open sky..
it cried for me, i went home dry.
what i held on close to me..
i release it back to the wind..
